Precautions for using sulfonate gun

Overview

The high efficiency sulfonate gun uses a straight flow path, there is no along the resistance and local resistance, the sulfonate gun has a stronger anti-blocking ability; The uniform distribution ring of thermal insulation steam is adopted in the gun body to make the temperature of the gun body consistent and solve the problem of bending the gun body. The optional automatic liquid sulfur cut-off valve and insulated steam cut-off valve can realize the remote start and stop of the highly efficient sulfonate gun on the DCS system, reducing the operation frequency of the operator in the field when the device starts and stops; The atomization principle of the spray nozzle adopts the two-stage Laval mechanical forced screw atomization technology, the nozzle seat and nozzle of the high-efficiency sulfur gun are connected with threads, and the sealing pad is a heat-resistant and high-temperature metal pad, which can solve the sealing leakage problem caused by thermal expansion and cold contraction after the device is stopped. The maximum operating temperature of the gun body is 1100℃, the maximum operating pressure of the liquid sulfur pipe is 2.5MPa, and the maximum operating pressure of the thermal insulation jacket is 1.6MPa.

Points for attention

1, installation precautions

1) When the gun is installed for the first time, if the temperature in the sulfur burner is high, the gun body will be heated to the same temperature as the sulfur burner in a short time due to the high temperature heat radiation of the sulfur burner, and the heat insulation gloves should be worn to avoid being burned;

2) Connect the mounting flange of the sulphate gun to the sulphate burner with bolts. After the sulphate gun is installed on the sulphate burner, connect the liquid sulphur and the heat preservation steam;

3) After confirming that the flange or thread connection is tight, open the primary stop valve and trap stop valve before the thermal insulation steam inlet, and exhaust the condensate in the thermal insulation steam to ensure that there is no condensate in the thermal insulation steam entering the sulfonate gun;

4) Confirm that the steam outlet valve is open, slowly open the secondary stop valve of the steam inlet, and use the steam to cool the gun to a range of 133 ~ 160 ° C.

5) The ripple compensator of the sulfonate gun is the weakest position, the thickness is only 0.8mm, and it is prohibited to knock or lift at the bellows;

6) The internal atomizing flow path of the nozzle is only 7× 9mm, do not allow particles to enter the gun during installation.

2, precautions in use

1) The insulation steam used in the sulfonate gun is saturated steam, the pressure range is 0.3 ~ 0.4MPa, the working pressure range of liquid sulfur is 0.45 ~ 1.5MPa, and the maximum operating temperature of the gun body is 1100℃. If the steam pressure fluctuation is large (beyond the range of 0.3 ~ 0.4MPa), it will cause the sulfonator to block or reduce the flow rate, resulting in the device to stop or reduce production, in this case, it is necessary to install the steam pressure regulating control valve.

2) If the liquid sulfur pressure is lower than 0.4MPa, the atomization efficiency will be reduced, resulting in the burning of liquid sulfur at the bottom of the sulfur burning furnace; if the liquid sulfur pressure is higher than 2.5MPa, the internal pipe of the sulfur gun will be damaged, the steam insulation jacket will be blocked, or the liquid sulfur will enter the thermal insulation steam system.

3) When the gun is in the high-temperature device during use, do not touch the gun with your body to avoid burns;

4) It is forbidden to loosen the liquid sulfur process connection flange and the steam process connection flange during use;

5) It is forbidden to open the thermal insulation steam inlet valve when the thermal insulation steam outlet valve and trap are closed, so as to avoid the condensation water in the thermal insulation steam entering the gun body and being vaporized at high temperature, and the volume will expand rapidly, so that the gun body will exceed the pressure of the ripple compensator (design pressure 1.6MPa), which will cause the ripple compensator of the sulfonator to explode and injure people;

6) Keep the heat preservation steam outlet of the sulfonate gun empty or open to check whether there is liquid sulfur leakage of the sulfonate gun.

3. Precautions for deactivation

1) When the sulfuric acid plant plans to stop production, it is necessary to confirm whether the thermal insulation steam outlet valve is open, and then open the trap stop valve to drain the condensate in the low pressure steam pipe, and then open the inlet thermal insulation steam secondary stop valve. This is to protect the device after the furnace heat radiation will not heat the gun body to the furnace temperature.

2) When the sulfuric acid device is not scheduled to stop, if the thermal insulation steam inlet stop valve is closed before stopping, it is necessary to open the trap first to drain the condensate in the low pressure steam pipe, and then slowly open the thermal insulation steam inlet stop valve. Before opening the thermal insulation steam inlet stop valve, it is necessary to confirm that the outlet valve is open to timely protect the sulfuric acid gun from high temperature radiation and damage the gasket. The gun gasket can withstand 900 ° C for 10 minutes.

3) When the sulfuric acid device is shut down, the liquid sulfur inlet valve should be closed in time to prevent the residual sulfur in the liquid sulfur pipeline from entering the sulfur burning furnace through the sulfonate gun to produce sublimed sulfur or combustion to produce a large amount of SO2 smoke.

4, Disassembly precautions

1) When it is necessary to remove the sulfur-gun, close the inlet valve of the thermal insulation steam only when the temperature of the sulfur-burning furnace drops to 780 ° C, remove the connection between the sulfur-gun liquid sulfur and the thermal insulation steam, and then remove the mounting flange of the sulfur-gun and the bolts or clasps of the sulfur-burning furnace. Wear protective equipment when removing the gun.

2) When removing the nozzle of the sulphate gun, use an Angle grinder to polish off the stopping solder joints, gently tap the nozzle around with a copper rod or rubber mallet, and then remove the nozzle with a pipe wrench.

3) To remove the sulfonate gun, wear safety goggles and anti-heat gloves to avoid personal injury. Wear goggles to wash the acid mud on the surface of the gun body with clean water to prevent dilute sulfuric acid from splashing into the eyes and causing blindness.
