- AS118 Sensor
The AS118 sensor is suitable for measuring sulfuric acid in the concentration range of 0% to 5% and 96% to 100%, and can also measure the concentration of lye and saline solutions up to 500 to 2,000,000uS/cm, especially suitable for the concentration of concentrated sulfuric acid in high temperature environments and easily crystallized clog solutions. The sensor is designed based on the principle of electromagnetic induction and consists of a pair of electromagnetic coils. During the measurement process, complete isolation is achieved between the induction element and the measured medium. Of this pair of coils, one acts as the transmitter and the other as the receiver. When the coil is energized, the conductivity of the electrolyte solution generates an induced current, and the strength of this current is proportional to the conductivity of sulfuric acid. The receiver coil then detects the magnitude of this current and calculates the conductivity value of the sulfuric acid.

- Product Performance
The AS118 sensor is suitable for applications in a variety of environments such as high temperature acids, dry acids, one-suck acids, finished acids, and diluted sulfuric acids. The measurement accuracy of the sensor is not affected by the flow rate and direction of the medium, but it cannot measure the conductivity of the medium containing gas, so it is necessary to ensure that the measurement medium is flowing and does not contain gas. The measuring tube of the AS118 sensor is made of stainless steel and lined with teflon, the mounting flange is made of corrosion resistant material, and the temperature sensor is installed as a standalone element in the temperature sleeve at the sensor outlet. The sensor's induction coil is mounted on the outside of the teflon-lined measuring tube, allowing medium such as high-temperature sulfuric acid or lye to flow inside the measuring tube.
